Save money on parking at Marbury

Regular visitors to Marbury Country Park can save on parking charges by buying an annual parking season ticket for £30. 

Better still, you can currently join the Friends of Anderton and Marbury (FoAM) for £8, you'll receive our regular newsletter and the FoAM membership card will entitle you to a concession rate of £20 for an annual parking season ticket - total £28!

- Individual Membership of FoAM is £8.00 per year, 

- Household Membership £15.00 per year,

- Individual Life Membership £80.00.

Little Leigh Dog Show - Sat 3 Sept -

A-          pretty bitch

B-          handsome dog

C-          best rescue

D-          best child handler

E-          best trick

F           best in show ( judge’s pick of the day).

Dogs must bring their owners to register at 2pm for judging starting at 2.30pm.

No need to enter in advance, all entries on the day.

Only £1 per class- rosettes as prizes

Bank Holiday Saturday - FREE Group Dog Walk

There's no training this weekend but if you're still in the mood to enjoy a little summer sunshine with your dogs then please join us this Saturday in Marbury for our Bank Holiday group walk. All dogs are welcome whether you're a regular at training or not and as usual there's no charge for these walks.

Pickmere's Annual Family Fun Day & Dog Show - Sunday 21st Aug 2011 -

The Pickmere Family Fun Day and Dog Show is a great afternoon out for all the family... there's games, stalls, tombola, refreshments and a BBQ... plus parking's free!

Andrea Gough will be back with her fabulous dog agility demonstration... and all dogs, young and old, pedigree or not can take part in the Dog Show. So if you've got the makings of the next Crufts champion or a cute little tail wagger come along and join the fun.

UPDATE... The show was a great success - 66 dogs entered - Best in Show was Nicky & Tooper (Corgi), Best Puppy Hannah & Lola (Cocker Spaniel) congratulations!!!

Pets in the Park: Saturday 14th May

On Saturday 14th May, 

The Willows Group have organised a 'Pets in the Park' event 11am - 4pm. 

The dog club is a keen supporter of The Cheshire Pet Network, so rather than run our usual training classes we'll be promoting the Well heeled Dog Club with a stand in the main park area.

Fancy an evening out with your new puppy?

Come and meet other new puppy owners at Pets at Home, Northwich on Tuesday 5th April, 7-8pm.

Mike from The Well Heeled Dog Club will be there along with local vets, nutritionists, breeders and other doggie enthusiasts to offer you free help advice and tips in bringing up your puppy. The staff at Pets at Home will be there to meet you and help you choose anything you need for your dog, so it's a great opportunity to get your puppy off on the right start - there's also a goody bag on offer too!
