TAKE PART IN A 'GRAND DAY OUT' FOR CHARITY THIS BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND
This Saturday and Sunday the Well Heeled Dog Club is involved with two events for charity.
On Saturday, 25th August the club is taking part in the national ‘A Grand Day Out’ by organising a ‘cracking’ dog walk for all the family in aid of the Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Foundation and the Kennel Club Charitable Trust.
The walk, which is open to all dog owners, whether people are regulars to training or not, will talk place at Marbury Park, starting at 10.30am in the dog training area behind the Ranger’ Office. By taking part not only will people have great fun, money will also be raised to help sick children in hospitals and hospices and make a difference to dogs’ lives.
And on Sunday, 26th August the dog club is holding its annual Dog show as part of Pickmere Village Fun Day.
This is a great day out for all the family, so whether your dog is a pedigree or a pooch with the waggiest tail, come along and join in the fun!
Registration starts at 12 noon and entry costs only £1.25 per class. The dog show is kindly sponsored by Pets at Home (Northwich) and the money raised will be shared with the Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation & the Kennel Club Charitable Trust, and the local events and causes supported by the Village Fun Day.

Pets in the Park: Saturday 19th May

The Willows Group have organised a 'Pets in the Park' event 11am - 4pm.
The dog club is a keen supporter of The Cheshire Pet Network, so as well as our usual training classes we'll be promoting the Well heeled Dog Club with a stand in the main park area.
I hope you'll come along and help to make the day a success!

SPRING 2012 - Indoor training venues and times
The WH Dog Club has been approved as a training provider of the highly respected Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme (KCGCDS). Owners will be trained to develop their skills by working towards a nationally recognised standard with their dog. Tests are not compulsory; just join us for the classes if you like.
KCGCDS Bronze
(Beginners Indoor Training Class)

Bank Holiday Saturday - FREE Group Dog Walk
There's no training this weekend but if you're still in the mood to enjoy a little summer sunshine with your dogs then please join us this Saturday in Marbury for our Bank Holiday group walk. All dogs are welcome whether you're a regular at training or not and as usual there's no charge for these walks.

Pickmere's Annual Family Fun Day & Dog Show - Sunday 21st Aug 2011 -
The Pickmere Family Fun Day and Dog Show is a great afternoon out for all the family... there's games, stalls, tombola, refreshments and a BBQ... plus parking's free!Andrea Gough will be back with her fabulous dog agility demonstration... and all dogs, young and old, pedigree or not can take part in the Dog Show. So if you've got the makings of the next Crufts champion or a cute little tail wagger come along and join the fun.
UPDATE... The show was a great success - 66 dogs entered - Best in Show was Nicky & Tooper (Corgi), Best Puppy Hannah & Lola (Cocker Spaniel) congratulations!!!
